2010 Legacies Now is a not-for-profit society committed to building a stronger British Columbia.



Our vision
To create sustainable legacies that will benefit all British Columbians as a result of hosting the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
 
Our mission
To work in partnership with community organizations, non-government organizations, the private sector and all levels of government to develop sustainable legacies in sport and recreation, healthy living, arts, literacy, accessibility and volunteerism. 

To actively assist communities to discover and create unique and inclusive social and economic opportunities leading up to and beyond the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The Literacy Now Communities Program guides communities through a planning process to identify local literacy needs.
